Dare I say it looks better than FC6? IT certainly runs better, with no dips or stutters of anykind. The expeditions are great fun too, and offer some brilliant alternate maps and locations.Īnd lastly, it just looks gorgeous. I loved being able to re-capture outposts multiple times for higher rewards, and then using those rewards to upgrad weapons and perks as much as my resources would allow. The story wasnt the best, but certainly kept me entertained enough to keep playing. (I upgraded both bow and sniper to over 2000 damge) ![]() About the only complaint was that it mostly wasnt worth going for headshots, as that usually just knocked helmets off, while body shots could 1-hit kill anyway. Both of which where incredibly powerful and statisfying to use. The gun play was incrediblly rewarding, and unlike FC6 I could finally enjoy playing Bow and Sniper. I just completed it, pretty much 100%, and I absolutely loved it. When it dropped to just £7~ and I finally bought it. So while I had it on my Steam wish list, it was never "cheap enough" to punt on. I had always read bad reviews and opinions that it wasnt worth bothering with. Was a lot of fun!Īnyway, point of this post is about New Dawn. I got a copy of Blood Dragon free with a purchase, and only played it months ago. However, I seem to have always just played the main "numbered" games, and till recently had only played/completed 1 through 6. I have been a huge FarCry fan all the way back to the original. ![]()
